So Dee gave birth to a spectacular bright bay filly with 4 whites and a blaze! I'd chosen her name before her birth and "Senzational" she is! Born on my Mum's birthday, I nicknamed her Lexy....two very special ladies. NOT FOR SALE:-)
So I've wanted a Sir Donnerhall for years and I couldn't be more pleased! Beautiful dark bay filly out of my Real Diamond mare Rosalina. She's perfect:-)
Great successes with ALL of my students at the Pacific Regionals at Thunderbird Show Park! Hayley Martin on Rataxus - First Level Jr Champion, Bridget Martin on Teodoro - Fourth Level AA Champion, Allison Bruynesteyn on Lover Boy - Training Level Open Reserve Champion, Nikki Marshall on Delano, raised their scores in FEI 5 year old up into the 70's by the end of the weekend, with great comments for the future of this lovely young horse. I was elated with Torbijn, who I bumped up to Third Level. TJ ended up in 3rd place (against some wonder horses) with a finishing score of 67.5 at 3-3 (his Olympic test..LOL)...no mistakes and clean changes!!! Thanks everyone for a fun and successful 2013...onto 2014:-)
Had a successful dressage show with Rob White's Torbijn ( TJ). We won the open Second Level Championship and received a lovely blanket donated by Greenhawk of Vancouver! T.J. and I will be out for one more competition this year....Pacific Regionals at Thunderbird. Third Level Test 3 is going to be like a GP test on this horse:-)
My working student Sarah MacKenzie and Merlin (Lynn Putland owner) went to their first REAL dressage show at Rising Stars and managed to win the High Score of the whole show! Winning a fabulous new Custom Saddle...thanks to Lesley McGill for such a generous donation. I'm one happy coach:-)
Beginners luck with my first intro to the Oldenburg Inspection held at Dreamscape Farms. There were plenty of wonderful foals and I was quite blown away when my little filly Sophia tied for Foal of Distinction with Dreamscape's fancy filly by Sir Gregory out of SPS Wahre Liebe. All I had for words were "COOL"!
Fantastic weekend at Touch of Class! I had time to spectate... WOW what a lot of amazing horses/riders and fabulous show grounds. Weekend completed withHayley Martinwinning her First Level JR Championship, Bridgitta Martinoffwinning Reserve Championship Fourth Level (first time out) and I was on a new mount Torbijn (T.J) and was thrilled with his scores and managed to squeak the Second Level Championship too! Thanks to all of you wonderful organizers, sponsors and volunteers.
Dee produced a fabulous uphill chestnut filly this afternoon. Wow was she up and at it fast! Photo's to follow, but here is Daddy:-)
Thunderbird Dressage Show this past weekend! Bridget Martinrode her first PSG test on Miller Time, scoring 63% on her first go! Bridget also rode Third level on Teodoro ( ownerKaren Robinson) winning the the Third Level AA Championship, with 4 red ribbons and a few 9's to boot. Hayley Martin(Bridget's little sister) had to follow the Martin trend forthe weekend and won the Training Level Jr division on Rataxus ( bred and trained by Bridget Martin). Nikki Nicolette Marshall and her 4 year old Delano won Reserve Champion Training Level Open. Nikki also had excellent results on her gelding Vledder at Second Level, just missing out on a Reserve Championship...next time. All I can say is WOW and thanks for making the rain worth it!
